20 Yılın Ardından Bosna-Hersek’te Gülen Hareketinin Çöküşü!

First Private Primary School “Isa-beg Ishaković”, which belongs to Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF), started its educational activities in campus that used to be first educational institution of Fetullah Gülen in BiH.

Educational Activities Conducted for 20 Years

The members of Gülen Movement who committed betrayal against Turkey in the failed Coup Attempt are facing huge difficulties in their homeland as well as abroad. The members of this organization conducted educational activities in schools in Vraca for the past 20 years. The buildings were restored with the funds earned by organizing sports matches in Istanbul in 1995., where Turkish players participated along with the international ones.

Members of FETÖ tried to protect themselves by handing over their schools to an American company. However, they had no choice but leave the Campus in Vraca. Under the directive of President Erdoğan, SEDEF Foundation is conducting educational activities in BiH since 2001, whilst its first institution opened was International University of Sarajevo (IUS), opened in 2004.

During his visit to Sarajevo in 2012, while still being the Prime Minister of Turkey, president Erdoğan emphasized that SEDEF Foundation, which is today filling many gaps in Bosnian-Herzegovinian higher education system, needs to direct its activities towards opening the elementary school and high school. By initiative of SEDEF Foundation President Mr. Hasan Toplaoğlu, the Primary School „Isa Beg Isaković“ situated in Grbavica neighborhood was taken over in May 2014.
